| Lvov - Ivano-Frankovsk - Kolomya - Tchernovtsi, 6 days / 5 nights.
Day 1: Lvov
Arrival in Lvov, check-in at the hotel and lunch in a restaurant in the city.
Visit of the marketplace ( Plochtcha Rynok) in the heart of the old town, then of the historic museum of Lvov, its magnificent collections are shared between three houses around the place. At n° 6, the first collection is hosted in a beautiful patio of Italian Renaissance style. At n° 4, a collection of work of art of the XIXth and XXth centuries. At n° 24 the collection recounts the history of Ukraine, with a beautiful part dedicated to the Cossacks. We shall pursue with the visit of the Boyim chapel (1617).
Walk in Voulitsia Pidvalia and visit of the Dominican monastery followed by the Uspenski church, flanked by the famous Korniakt bell-tower and the chapel of the three Saints. Then,we shall see the fortifications of the city and the Bernardins monastery.
Spare time, return at the hotel and dinner.
Day 2: Ivano-frankovsk - Kolomya
Breakfast, check out and departure for Ivano-Frankovsk (165 km).
Arrival in Ivano-Frankovsk and visit of the old town.
Lunch in a restaurant in the city.
Start for Kolomya (70 km of Ivano-Frankovsk)
Visit of the Pyssanky museum in Kolomya. This museum hosts a beautiful collection of 6000 hand-decorated eggs. This tradition goes back up to the Antiquity. The museum of Hutsul popular Art , the most famous museum of the region will reveal you a beautiful collection of ceramics, tools and wooden sculptured instruments, furnitures and materials, in short, all the art of living of this unknown ethnic group.
Spare time and later dinner in a family restaurant. Substantial and delicious Ukrainian cooking. Overnight stay at the inhabitant.
Day 3: Tchernovtsi
Breakfast and departure for Kosiv (45 km).
Visit of the Hutsul craft market. It takes place once a week. This market is a good occasion to buy some beautiful souvenirs of the Ukrainian Carpathian mountains.
Departure for Tchernovtsi (80 km)
Check-in at the hotel and lunch in a restaurant downtown.
Visit of the university complex of Byzantine style which date from the XIXth century. It was the former residence of the metropolitans of Bucovina. The complex is made up of beautiful gardens, the Seminarska church , the main building of the university and the palace of the metropolitans.
Visit of the St Nicolas church, the oldest wooden religious building of the city (1607).Visit of the Kalynivsky market. It draws some 60000 persons a day. Spare time for some purchases.
Return to the hotel and dinner.
Day 4: Tchernovsti - Kamenets-Podolski
Breakfast and departure for the fortified city of Kamenets-Podolski.
Arrival and free visit of the old town and its impressive fortress which construction began in the Xth century and continued until the XVIIth century.
Lunch.
Departure for Khotyn (25 km of Kamenets-Podolski by returning towards Tchernovtsi) Visit of the fortress of Khotyn overhanging the Dniester. It was erected in the XVth century. Its impressive bulwarks testify of a very tempestuous warlike past, which will be told to you by our guide.
Back to Tchernovtsi and dinner at the hotel.
Day 4: Tchernovsti - Kamenets-Podolski
Breakfast and departure for the fortified city of Kamenets-Podolski.
Arrival and free visit of the old town and its impressive fortress which construction began in the Xth century and continued until the XVIIth century.
Lunch.
Departure for Khotyn (25 km of Kamenets-Podolski by returning towards Tchernovtsi) Visit of the fortress of Khotyn overhanging the Dniester. It was erected in the XVth century. Its impressive bulwarks testify of a very tempestuous warlike past, which will be told to you by our guide.
Back to Tchernovtsi and dinner at the hotel.
Day 6: Lvov
Breakfast and check-out.
Back to Lvov, lunch and tranfer at Lvov airport.
