Climate

The position of Ukraine, confers on it a continental temperate climate. The country is located between the 44th and the 55th parallel and restricted inside the continent, with for consequences, few oceanic rains and the thermal distances between summer and the winter are important.
Climate undergoes the influence of the anticyclone of Siberia. The winter is harsh and long, four-five months on average, with temperature under 0°C in January in Crimea. On the other hand, the hot season lasts from April till October. The medium temperature of July is between 20° and 25°C (sometimes 30°C in the shade in August), what is comparable to the summer temperatures of the Mediterranean zone. During this season, torrential rains are rather powerful but rare. The autumn is a sunny season and the temperature is very nice.
